Greddy header = leak due to donut gasket
The car is an EM1, stock b16, greddy 1pc header... when i accelerate moderatly-hard, and shift, it sounds like an air compressor under my car... LOTS of air escapes and I believe this has caused my O2 sensor to go bad.
When I first installed the header, I bought the GSR gasket per everyone's suggestion, but the damn thing still leaks after a year. Anyone have any suggestions?
The spring bolts are still being used, so tightening anything where the header meets the cat is useless, bc its pretty much the springs thats doing the work of keeping the clamp action.
are there better alternatives other than OE honda donut gaskets?

A slightly leaking header shouldn't have ruined your 02 sens.
Are you sure the donut gasket you bought was still in decent shape? You might want to check your motor mounts to make sure your motors rocking under accelleration isn't cause seperation.

it wasnt a reused gasket... it was brand new when i installed it.. but i will check the motor mounts for sure.. i did the ES bushings for the front 2, but never installed the rear (3rd) insert.
