Default exhaust

i'm thinking about pulling my cat out and just having a 2.5" pipe going to my ebay "performance" muffler.

i have an OBD-I JDM B18C SIR-G, AEM V2 Intake, 4-1 Headers. would it hurt to loose my cat?

You definitely won't pass emissions, that's for sure.

What what you says goes, right?

Yes, it will be less restrictive and give you more power. However, it won't sound very good.

Keep the cat. You won't gain much with a straight pipe. Plus, Captain Planet will whoop your *** for ******* up the ozone even more.

I've got a straight pipe with Apexi N1 'straight pipe back' exhaust. Sounds very good, great power.

I used to have that, the sounds was horrible and the power was debateable.

although it will give u more power its pretty much a dumb idea. the cat is there so that **** in ur exhaust DOESNT get in the air.

plus with a stock car u might as well carry a bag of rice in your car
