i could push your car faster than a d15 would get it moving.

it is absolutely pointless to put that engine in, it does not have nearly the amount of torque or hp to get the car moving.

your car weighs rougly 2800lbs, you need to stick with the f22's

d15 - 92hp/97tq

f22a1 (lx motor) 125/137 (i believe)

if price is an issue look into a jdm f22b (its a dohc non vtec, very similar to h23)

well, not just F22's. Any F or H series motor will be fine, excluding the S2000 motor of course.

Not only does the D series motor not have enough torque, they won't mount into your car without custom motor mounts. Also, you would need to swap your shifter mechanism to the rod style that the D and B series motors have. The swap just isn't worth it.

For 90+ Accords, stay with the F or H series motors. Leave the D and B series motors to the Civic's and Integra's.

If you looking for more power bnut don't have a lot of money, you could sell that D15 you have and buy a H22 or H23 head. For more info on swaps, take a looks at the "Swaps" section in the Accord FAQ.

Touring Accord has it. If you can work it, you might be able to sell whatevers under you hood now and that D engine and get a nice H22

altho i think a lot of ppl here will tell you sell that D series and put it in your piggy bank towards a turbo setup if you want some real power

No torque, no care.
