Default b18c burning oil

i bought my swap from some guy that told me it had itr internals and never was boosted or sprayed on. i installed it and it ran perfect w/ little smoke. i asked why it smoked and he said the valve seals were bad. so i figured id drive it for a little bit b4 i put valve seals in. well..... it got way worse and poured smoke after a awhile(even just revving it a little would blow smoke everywhere. i did a leakdown on it and i could hear it hissing the dipstick tube on cylinder 2. so i bought oem rings and just rerang it saturday.definantly not itr internals. when i pulled out the piston and rod from cylinder 3, it had heat marks on it(the rod). so i figured this guy bullshitted me. i put everything back together by specs and drove it home(after ringing them). ive been putting easy miles on it to break it in since, but latley its been starting to pour smoke when i give it some throttle and let off. ( ex. 3rd gear, 40 to 50mph, 60-70% throttle, not even popping into vtec, and letting off still in gear.) i think its my seals but not too sure. any comments or advice?

does it only smoke when in high vacuum? like off throttle down hills and idling? I have heard that could be because if valve seals, sounds like you have other issues too though

if you replaced the rings, why not replace the seals while the head was off

i ordered the valve seals the same time as the rings but the rings got here on time and the seals didnt. i only had saturday to do it. but no worrys, ill just put some compressed air in the cylinders to hold them up.

itr's are 73 and gsr's are 72, mine is 72. its pretty doubtful that its the guides because it takes alot to warp them. im thinkin seals. they should be here soon
