I have everything I need for my turbo d16z6 crx project. The only thing I don't have is intercooler piping. I figure that there is no piping kit out there that will fit perfect for me, so doing it custom the best bet. I have found a couple websites promoting silicon piping. It would be fairly easy to work with and sounds like it wouldn't leak to bad as long as I use good clamps and tighten em' down good. Does anybody have any comments on this?
You want to use silicone for charge pipes or just for couplers?Just buy some mandrel bends and some silicone couplers and go to it.Even if you cant weld you can cut it to fit then rip by a muffler shop/welding shop and have them weld it up for you.

I will most likely go with some mendrel bends and silicon couplers.
I was just thinking about using all silicon because I went to the website siliconintakes.com and they have them used to intercooler piping. I know my old srt-4 had a piece of rubber/silicon for the complete cold side and for the last foot leading to the intercooler

It cost me about $80 to order the piping from JCWhitney and cut them myself. Didn't need to get anything rewelded. If you could measure it exactly..then you could probably have a muffler shop bend them for you for cheaper.
