Yes- p30 pistons are Civic type R I believe. It will up your compression immensely, close to 12.5:1 with a GSR head if you decide to go VTEC

CTR piston is called PCT
Del Sol B16 piston is called P30

Wrong. PCT pistons are JDM B16B pistons and will yield that compression ratio.

P30 pistons are JDM B16A pistons and will yield around 11.5-11.8:1 static compression depending on what head you are using.

with 12.5:1 compression do you have to pump race gas or can you use 91?

With a good tuner, you may be able to get away with it, but more than likely, you will have to lower it a little more to safely run pump gas.

weak numbers for that setup...ive seen cammed gsr's make that...and bolt on type r's hit 180 whp with a tune

if i had a port matched head with combustion chamber polishing and a 12 to 1 cr...id cry if i broke 180 whp..

No, they are USDM B16A pistons. PCT pistons are CTR.

this thread is wack.

just use some PR3's (USDM B16A) or P30's (JDM B16A) because they will yield you 11.x:1 compression and fit on your rods without machine work.
