I have a 95 EG coupe and plan on doing a engin build to get it ready for a turbo but I want to get the engin ready bottom end and valve train upgrades. Just wondering what others are running and what they think is good or not so good

d16z6 engin for a daily driver nothing to crazy not wanting to build a 10 sec. car

 

what else did he do to the engin turbo (what kind) super charger? how did he get the power?

 

if ur goign 200whp on stock internals u need a hell of a tune

 

say ur looking for 250 give or take on a d.

You want to build the bottom end

Eagle rods
9.0-1 Low Comp pistons
OEM or ACL bearings

You dont need to bore out the cylinders but u can to .020

As far as the head, It all depends how high u want to rev.

If you want to rev to 7200, keep the stock head.
Any higher i would go with Crower, Ferera etc for valves/springs/retainers

And for a cam, Many ppl have made good power with the Zex cam.

Just my .02 but if you're gunna do it, dont half *** it cause u know ur gunna want more power when all is said and done.
