Post the questions and it might be easier to answer them...

I pulled my trans to replace the converter seal to stop a leak and when I put it back in, it throws a P0715 code. I checked all the sensors and solenoids, resistance wise, and they pass. I applied power to each leg of the solenoids and each one clicked. So I am thinking, rebuild time. Which seems strange to me, it was working fine prior to pulling it out. It seems like an electrical issue to me. But not sure where to turn next.

If I rebuild, looking for any poniters, red flags, etc. I use to rebuild powerglides and turbo 400's when I raced many years ago and looking at the service manual, it doesn't look tooooooo bad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I realize this thread is old, but I'm wondering if you decided to take this on. If so, I've got questions. I'm fond of my '97 Accord with 342k miles that will now move forward in Neutral and is also resisting moving backwards in Reverse (I have to give it gas to get it to move backwards, like a fwd clutch is engaged causing jerking and resistance). Just about the only way I can see not junking my car is if I rebuild the transmission myself.

Thanks.
