ok, so heres wat happened, i was out with my car after a bad rain storm and saw a parking lot flooded with water( 8-10 inches) so i drive through it slow and think damn thats deep so my buddys say hey fly through that **** so ofcourse showoff me did, this puddle was prolly 20 yrds long and i was prolly doin 20mph though it, as i near the end the car starts dying out on me and i slow down and put it in 1st, at first it felt like the clutch wasnt grabbing then i realized it wasnt my clutch it was my motor. So i pull off to the side and try revving it a little and its sputterin like a bitch, ideling real low, prolly like 400rpm my dad says electrical , ne advice wuld be greatly appreciated

check your oil and spark plugs

 

yea, soundes like you sucked in water, does ur car start up now?? if not, u probably hydro locked

 

might have just got water in some connectors but just to be safe do as the guy above me said.

 

either what everyone else is saying (likely if you have an intake)

or you got water in your distributor and it's misfiring
