okay, here's the deal. i bought my 89 SI a couple of months ago, it's a work in progress. 160k on the motor and tranny. for an unknown reason, the drivers master control window switch was missing. the previous owner screwed with the whole car randomly and had no idea what he was doing. he said both of the window motors were bad. well, after testing both windows with a paper clip (they both roll up and down fine) i bought a switch off ebay. the passenger window works fine from that door itself and the master switch on the driver door... but the driver window doesn't respond to the switch. faulty switch? maybe it needs to be cleaned/repaired somehow? or faulty motor? or faulty wiring? please assist

i don't like having to stand out of my sunroof at drive thru's :/

 

how stupid. the fuse was blown. i could have sworn i checked that.
