how do you tell if a type r intake is obd1 or obd2......

Default how do you tell if a type r intake is obd1 or obd2......

like the title says.....the reason i'm asking is because i have a jdm block with a usdm head..........i'm running obd1 setup but i wasn't sure if obd1 and obd2 were the same or not.....what do i look for to tell the difference if there is one.....

All ITR's are OBD2.

k haha...........well anyways so what's the difference between an obd2 iacv and an obd1 iacv?.........for an ITR

there is no difference since ITR's never came in OBD1
you want the IACV with the 12mm bolts that are closer together, they very from year and model

ok well what about the obd1 and obd2 iacv valves on a b16? which one could i use to replace the r? or are they both the same...........?

ITR's ONLY CAME IN OBD2.

Meaning, if you were going to replace it with anything, it would MORE THAN LIKELY be the OBD2 one, that is, if it will fit at all.

k sorry i'm not really retarded or anything i'm just not very familiar with the r engines and components....i've always run obd1 engines and mostly b16s and gsrs....appreciated

all components on an ITR engine (all OBDII) will work fine running OBDI in an OBDI chassis.

The JDM Intake manifold does not have the vacuum port for the evap purge control solenoid. But it does have a smaller vacuum port for the canister in a different location.

well ok the cars not idling right....it revs up and down, but it ildes ok sometimes too but only every now and then...is it because of the evap purge solenoid? i figured it was the iacv but it's not throwing a code at all.....
