yes, OBD-II has more inputs, so will have more problems, yet is required for 96 and newer veichiels to pass smog test.

The '95 V-6 trouble codes can only be read with an OBDII diagnostic tool. The four cylinders have a service check connector for a jumper wire. So the V-6 for '95's should be considered OBDII.

'95 V6 is OBD2. That's why it's included in the emissions extension warranty.

OBD2 is a major upgrade in comparison to OBD1 as far as car/engine monitoring. Of course, all your sensors need to be in top shape or the OBD2 ECU will raise hell.
OBD1 is definately easier to tune, where OBD2 ECUs can adjust timing (not sure on the 5th gen Accord) but on my 2000 Prelude, the ignition timing was automatically controlled by the OBD2 system and would eventually de-tune my VAFC after about 100 miles. By de-tune, I mean it would do it's best to revert any changes made by the VAFC back to stock specifications, and it did it quite well for the most part.
I'd prefer a OBD2 system if you're keeping a relatively stock car and want added reliability.. The system can PROTECT your engine in a bad situation.. (Retard timing under detonation, etc).

Basically most car manufacturers went to a style of OBD2 due to emissions regulations. This all happened in '96. OBD2 = more headaches and harder to tune.

Some ppl find the 94-95 accords more desirable b/k of it's easier to tune OBD-I state. For some, it's also the styling w/ less chrome accents.
If you're considering a 94-95, it's not a bad idea especially if it's been well maintained. Bonus for a J-Vin'd car.

if you get an OBD-II just get a jumper and run a p28 on it. I like the OBD-II rear end...but I like the smaller front turn signals. I love my car though

the biggest diference bweetn OBD1 and OBD2 is of course the second 02 sensor in OBD2 cars and that OBD2 made all codes generic, so instead of each manufacturer having there own unique code for the same problem, a code for a bad 02 sensor in a honda would be the same in a nissan or toyota or ford if they are all OBD2
