Default Apexi VAFC

Can someone show me or help me install a APEXI vtec air flow converter? What make this so hard is that the plug at the bottom end wire is cut, and all you see is wire of red, blue, brown, yellow... etc, I know the red is positive, and the black is negative and the yellow make it lights up, thats all I know and I'm really confused. HELP ME!!

Depending on your model V-AFC, you can find your installation documents here: http://www.apexi-usa.com/support_installation.asp

The end of the harness does not have a plug, because it is meant to be wired inline / along with the ECU.

All of your wiring connections will be done directly at the ECU, follow the instuctions carefully and you can do this install yourself.

Now tuning the V-AFC is a different story and I suggest that you might want to search for any settings that others may have posted that relate to your particular setup in general.

Don't do that. Leave it initialized until you get to a dyno/tuner. Things can go bad real fast if you don't know what you're doing.

I don't quite remember, but when the V-AFC is initialized, does it reset the VTEC engagement point back to stock setting or it disabled?

That was my main reason for suggesting using someone else's general settings until he could get some fine tuning done.

It goes back to stock, but you have to change the cyl. # back to 4. It usually comes up as 6.
