i am doing a mini me swap. I need to know what this goes into? As you can see in the pictures that it should have a green plastic piece coming off of it. i need to know if a hose plugs into it or its an electronic device since i am putting this head on my a6 block. Thanks

I think its the vtec pressure switch, and yes there is supposed to be something coming off of it

from the looks of that green ring it looks like it WAS a female harness that accepts a plug, like jimmy said.

its obviously broken off.

thats oil pressure i believe.

 

Yea that is part of your vtec solenoid. Looks like you will need a new one, as there are plugs that are supposed to be in that green part.
