Default fuel tank leak code, p1456

alright I have a 97 civic 2dr DX. I swapped in a 98 civic EX motor with harness and ecu. the car consistently throws a 1456 fuel tank leak code. the reason for the "leak" i believe is the fuel tank pressure sensor circuit on the ecu. the ex ecu is looking for the sensor, but my car doesn't have it. so i gave it an average (2.5v) input (like ffsquad.) The sensor fluctuates from 1 to 5 volts depending on the tank pressure so giving it a constant voltage is probably causing it to throw the light.
Is there a way to fix this without swapping my gas tank for an ex tank? can I add the pressure sensor to my tank? Does anyone know a way to create a better circuit simulator?
Thanks

yeah get an ecu that doesnt look for the fuel tank pressure sensor. Maybe a p28 with a conversion harness.

Besides a stock obd1 p28 you could install a FTP sensor. There is a guy on the board who claims you dont have to change fuel tanks to install the sensor but it still sounds like a pain to do. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1581107
