well i justinstalled a b20 swap in my 98 hatch i was having other problems but now i'm truly stumped and seeing if someone has any ideas??

here is my new problem!---- when im cranking on it when the motor is turning it seems like the starter gives up. because it cranks-cranks-cranks and then stops like it gets stuck on something. i have never had a problem like this before and have no idea what to do! i'm trying to guess and say the starter is bad but i dunno. if i could get one of my friends to come over i'm going to try to push start it.

now, batt. started going low so i was jump starting it and i now noticed the starter is super hot and the ground on the batt and down by the tranny is hot also. so could this be another problem or what??

 

its getting hot from trying to start it, you have most likely fried it already, but thats not your starting problem.

 

gay any body else??
