Default Polyurethane motor mount inserts + lumpy cams

Do any of you have stiffer polyurethane motor mount inserts, (ES, Prothane) and big cams that give a lumpy idle? I have a non-VTEC LS with Crower 403s and I want to get the inserts for a variety of reasons, but I also am trying to keep it a livable daily driver - the goal being that girls/parents/co-workers can ride in it and not be like "I can't wait to get out of this POS." I'm wondering if the stiffer mounts transmit a lot of the throbbing engine movement at idle to your seat, steering wheel, shifter, etc.

I have aftermarket mounts in my car- not sure whether they are polyurethane or not but it is very stiff. I can't imagine that you could have much worse of a ride then me. My supension is very stiff so I wouls say go for it

Are you talking about suspension bushings or motor mount inserts? My ride is fine, it's the engine vibrations I'm concerned about.

i had just the lower 2 inserts (ES) installed on my stock. I had vibration at idle, the dash would shake a bit, especially around the gauge cluster area.

I can only imagine what cams would do, and if i installed the rear mount insert also.

I have the poly mount inserts along with some 403's in a b20 and the cams lope like no tomorrow and the inserts really dont help. But to me its not a problem im used to my dash and steering wheel vibrating at idle for a while now and really dont mind it, its also daily driven. Better to have a motor staying in place then having it thrown around between shifts.
