Default Is a beat up EH9 worth it?

So i've had a 93 EH9 for about a year now and have been around a lot of better and nicer and not to mention faster cars lately. I was promised a newer car this summer but it never happened soooo... So by next may of 2007 I was again promised a car if I graduate high school which c'mon I know damn well I will. But anyways back to my EH9. I was thinking for the time being should I even bother doing anything to my EH9? The rack and pinion of the power stearing is messed up, the body is all bent out of shape such as rusts spots, scratches, and dings. The car isn't really reliable but its good enough for me to drive around. I want to see if its worth tuning and making it a project car and at the same time wait for a new car. I was promised to get either an EP3 or a DC5 S but if anything what shall I do?

i second that vote...nothing like working your *** off and blowing it all on your car.. (i do it every paycheck)....but really if you are getting a new car next year...theres no point in dropping money in the car you have now...work. save money. get the new car. drop it all on the new car.
