someone tell me why there isnt a GT300 class s2000 on the JGTC?
i guess its kinda like saying why isnt their a type r integra in the JGTC.
Only thing i can think of is that they have the NSX, and their must be something in the rules that prevent the s2000 from being a good platform to race with.

All of them run hardtops. The GT500 NSX's are NOT boosted, they make 490+ N/A.
Oh yea, there are these things called "punctuation". Use them.

if you fork up the cash, you can go beyond 300whp NA........ just don't die on me, hearing prices for these things
The reason why there's no S2K in the Super GT300 class is because the NSX is already there. There's absolutely no reason to have them compete against each other. Furthermore, the potential development and engineering costs in order to make an S2K competitive in Super GT wouldn't even be practical. The F-series engine would have to be re-engineered, boosted, or even replaced in order to make enough power for the S2K to be competitive. The cost of re-engineering the S2K's roadster chassis would be an issue as well.
At one time the GT500 class NSX'es were turbocharged. The regulations also forced the turbocharged motor to be used with the smaller displacement C30A engine. As I'm looking at the latest VTEC Sports 21 feature on the 2006 GT500 NSX specs, it say that it's using the C32B engine once again with a displacement of 3.5 liters making 500hp. I wish it gave the specs of the GT300 NSXs but it doesn't.
