i started my car up today and poked in my car lighter, i noticed my temp gauge went up as i had it in. is this a common thing? also my o2 sensor keeps buggin me, ive replaced it like 2 times in the last 5 months and it keeps dyin. ill be drivin and my check engine light would pop up and ill feel heat comin from my dash. any help would be appreciated. thanks

damn i had a feelin it was wiring. any ideas of fixin this? dont have time to redo all this wiring.

 

your temp guage should have noooooooothing to do with the cigarette lighter, the temp guage should be one solid wire that goes from the cluster to the temp sensor, and should interfere with nothing in between, so sounds like you have some weird wiring problems goin on
