i wondering what this would do to a ITR... Horse #'s... maybe if any1 has it if they got anything to say about it.... is it worth it? every1 pretty much just say wut they know about um !! thx !!

 

its not good for street unless u have a air box covers 'em up
but its worth it if u are building up a race car~!

cons 1. no air filter so dirts goes into ur engine.
2. its very lound (i mean really)
3. no enough low end power, unless u reving all the time
4. COPs <---- u know what i mean

air flow will be even/faster/larger and that means good high end power

bad low end.

Freddie's right about most, but the low end power thing depends on the size of the throttle bodies and design. They are loud, but the power gains and throttle response are awesome.

Tuning is probably the hard part with these types of intake systems, but I've heard midrange and low end will imporve if the throttle sizes aren't too big (over 44mm each).

You should only consider these after maxing out your engine NA wise.

 

so it would be great for b18c5 with AEM CAI / DC Sport JDM 4-1 headers / exhuast JUN stage 3 cams, cam gears, JUN dual vavle springs, and JUN retainers. dont think im gonna get into porting and polishin, but would the injection kit be good for me?

 

If you're not going to get into head porting and changing internals, it's not the right piece for you.

This piece is kind of the last thing you add to your motor when you've done everything else.

EDIT: Also your AEM CAI would be useless with this kit.

ya i kno the CAI would be useless i just was sayin wut i had, and put that there... i kno it would be replaced by that kit

 

If you're not ready to change internals or port the head you will want to consider something else.

The stock itr intake manifold is very good.

 

well see how many ponies the itb puts out...all we need is the tps plug and were ready to rock
