Strut and tie bars
I've been looking around and I just wanted to get a few more opinions on this. So far it seems to me like spoon has some pretty good strut bars and tie bars and I'm thinking about getting all four (upper and lower). Is there a better brand I should use or am I on the right track? Thanks!
i think ur on the right track...Mugen is pretty good too..it all depends on ur preference...strut bars and tie bars does not do anything but to make ur ride stiffer...the bottom line is they are both good...if not mistaken i think spoon is more expensive...hope helps
Mugen is more expensive. I have the Mugen rear strut bar and am getting the front shortly. Its a very nice piece, top notch quality. tapeworm, you can find all mugen products at ipsracing.com. also for tie bars, i would recommend benen, i have heard good things about them and am picking up a lower rear tie bar. RandDmotorsports.com stocks benen.

Get a Carbing & Rigid: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=160323
They're cheaper and just as good. And, if you're really concerned about their JDMness, they're so Hello Kitty.

Benen!! Very high quality stuff! Of course Spoon and Mugen is great as well. For the upper struts, I would say as long as its strong and sturdy, a struts a strut. A lot of people say the ITR rear lower sway bar is a good buy, then get a tie bar to go alone with it.[Modified by BranzLS, 9:45 PM 4/21/2002]

How about you upgrade your rear sway bar first to a ITR one. The ITR rear sway bar is a beefy 22mm compared to the GSR's uhm...forget the size....may be 18mm?
With the ITR rear sway bar, get yourself either a comptech, benen, or spoon tie bar. The comptech one requires drilling though.
Before adding any strut bars, you might want to lower your car first. It's not necessary but a good way to start. Since you're looking into bars, I assume you already lowered your car.
