Just wanted to get an Idea of how many of you guy's are running with one of them ?? Looking to here the pro's and con's of using the PW0/PR3's with hondata

SUMOrex is running the Hondata 2b (no datalogging tho ) on a PR3.

 

I thought that you could only use Hondata on OBD I computers, but the PR3/PWO are both non-OBD.

3B, not using the B (not sure if I will or not). I haven't had it tuned yet, since we just got the motor in last week, waiting to see if any gremlins peak up. I love the clutch cut and rev limit, BUT it takes some getting used to. NEVER LIFT, you have to watch where you're shifting, since it'll rev limit at 3500 (launch). The clutch switch is very touchy. Overall, the tune has worked well, no codes (motor was put in with the Hondata, not upgraded). Right now I run custom 3" CAI, R manifold, DC 4-1, Catco, Apex WS. Runs strong. Any more specific q's? I'm really just trying to find out what which way to go.?? Stage 3 or Stage 2 ..?? and if there are any major issues/gremlins that make driving a pain in the ***.. thats all.....Oh yea and if anyone knows who has a awesome program for Toda Cams!! That's about it because I have the $$$$ in hand just waiting..

I'm running Stage 2...PR3......it works just fine for now....

 

Really, I like the clutch cut and launch features, but I'd stay away from them if you don't take it racing (drag, autocross, etc.). I'm not quite used to it, and I'll have to adjust the clutch cut. It's quite sensitive. In city driving, I find that I rev limit at the launch rev limit when driving less aggressively. However, putting the gas down and NEVER LIFTING from start to freeway speeds is pretty awesome. HTH, Overkll

 

BTW, with your mods, you should get that **** dynoed if you could. I wouldn't trust a pre-program. Who probably don't have access to a tuner over there though, eh . If not, you might need to get the 4. Good luck anyway, Overkll
