how to tell if its a GSR tranny.....

like the title says. the tranny is out of the car and is supposedly a gsr tranny. if it doesn't have a vin plate then what other way can you tell? any help is much appreciated.

only way to really know for sure, as far as i understand, is to count the teeth on the gears
