how to tell if tranny is gsr visually, help quick!
i am checking out a gsr tranny tom. buy i do not know how to tell if it is a gsr tranny or not, i know all integra trannies are s-80 but are there any other codes to tell me that the tranny is a gsr or is there any distinct part on the gsr tranny that sets it apart from the rest???? please help fast! im checking out the tranny tom.!

pray it has a VIN badge on it.. other than that it's almost impossible to tell unless you run it on a engine or you tear it down to inspect..if the VIN has DC2 in it.. then most likely it's a GSR or better... if it says DC4.. it's a LS tranny.. if it says DB8 GSR sedan.. DB7= LS sedan tranny =P luckily the trannies I've going to pick up always had the VIN on it.. but sometimes you just aren't lucky enough
