Default racing hardtop?

hey guys, my question is that i heard there is a differnt hard top for the S2000, its not mugen, seibon or OEM, the hardtop extends from the windsheld to the end of the trunk, i believe theres a racing team that has it but i cant remember which one, i think its one of the J's Racing S2000s? im not sure, but if you cans can help out on any info and pix that would be great. thanks guys

Lucky

It's made by a company called Mooncraft I think. Imported here in VERY VERY small numbers, and expensive as hell. You'd really have to go through one of the s2ki vendors to get it. I think it's around $9000.

I don't like it either, honestly. With the straight up windshield of the S (something that hurts our aerodynamics a LOT) it just makes it look goofy and ***-heavy. Makes the S look like J Lo.

Its $8000 but it requires a roll bar. The mooncraft top attaches to it. You're easily looking at 10k+ when all said and done.

Bulletproofautomotive.com is one place you can get it from. You will have to wait awhile for it.

the point of it is aerodynamics...its a fast back for the s2k so if ur starting to max out ur cars potential and ur serious about time ull consider it...

the s windshield is nowheres close to being straight up and down, but if u want honda to slope it even more most of us wont be able to fit

I'm pretty sure Mooncraft is its own line, owned by Dome. Spoon just uses it.

as far as i know mooncraft itself doesn't distribute anything...... in order to get this top you'd have to go though spoon (or the person you're buying it from has to go though spoon)

It's all good, just semantics now...noticed you're in VA, what are you doing tonight? Going to the Dulles Chik-Fil-A meet? We're doing a coilover install on an S in Vienna before that as well.

Ah, gotcha...I'm not doing it, just watching to learn. But I'll be there, probably around 6 or 6:30 depending on traffic.

looks good, why do that to an s2000? why not go beeter and more old school, just get a 70s 240, 260 or 280Z and drop an rb26dett into it and call it a day.. now that is something. old school RWD with a skyline powerplant. and some nice deep dish rims.. cant beat that.. that is wut i am currently workin on. go to http://www.hybridz.com to check them out..
