Question on "Machined" Polished OEM Rims....
I have a set of '92 Prelude Si rims for my gf's Accord and they were a nice find for the price. The wheels originally had a factory machined face and some of the rims have fairly deep scratches as well as scuff marks.
I sanded down one of the rims with very fine paper and it looked great.... until I sanded too much and at some angles, it looks a little white (sanded clearcoat?). All the searches returned results for painting or going full polished.
Worse comes to worse I can paint the wheel with Duplicolor silver and clear it, but is there a way to save the original machined finish? Hit with a new layer of clear? Help me out!

If you live in So. Cal, there should be plenty of places that can repair/polish wheels. If you're set on fixing it yourself, some Meguiar's aluminum polish and some elbow grease should be able to buff out the haze.

I tried the Meguiar's polish and it helped out, but the haze is still there. Thanks though
