i seen lots of people with these seats, i was wondering if you had to mod them to make it fit?exact like factory?Any help would be great Thanks

Yes i have them in my car. Yo have to use the bottom half of the rail on the outside rails(by the doors) and switch the inside ones completely from the civic to gsr seats.(ones that have buckles) At least i think,its been a while since ive done it.

 

i believe your right becuase of the way it mounts on the buckle side...

just swap the inner rails and you should be good to do.. did this to put del sols in my ek a while back and they have the same mounting positions as gsr

 

i believe u have to swap out the rails in order from them to fit perfectly..

 

is it easy to take out the rails?damn i chopped off one of my stock seat brackets!thanks for the help

 

rails are simple.. 2 or 3 bolts..

go to search.. click archives and change the forum to 92-00

and search "gsr seats"

i bet there will be a lot of write ups.. i know there was a ton when i was looking to put some in my car..

yeap..2 bolts under the rails..cant miss it..2 14mm or might be 2 12mm bolts..

 

okay to make sure...just swap the outter rails near the door?and leave the inner rails??with the stock civic seats?is the outter part has a mount to the floor?

 

how much can you expect to pay for a set, Front and rear.. .


also how do you get the rear to fit, in a 00 coupe?

I know there's a 10mm bolt inside the rail.

 

i think there are all 10mm and then a 16 or something on the part that connects the bottom to seat back

Yeah, I think it was a 17mm or 19mm on my Del Sol seat, but a smaller one on my Civic seat.

 

On the Fronts one mount per seat must be modified. The side closest to the middle on the back of the rail. You have to turn the hole into somewhat of a horseshoe shape. Then you can stick the bolt through it.

Take the rears and put them in a garbage bag for long term storage, because their's absolutely no way youre going to get them to fit in your 96-00 Coupe. That Idea has been beaten to death for years. No one was ever successful.

 

not true, ive seen GSR leather in a coupe rear, and from what ive found on the search, the 4 door leater rear fits the coupe???
