Hey I'm getting a CEL for code eight which is obviously tdc sensor, I've searched the forums and found the needed info, but had a couple questions. On the highway for the past year ive experienced my tack bouncing all over the place and even staying at 0rpm sometimes. Now im finally getting a CEL and the car runs like a bag and idles like crap when the CEL comes on but this only seems to be at startup. once the car warms up if i turn it off a coast for a bit and just pop the clutch again i can usually clear it for the duration of my trip. Also my car started up yesterday and then died and wouldnt start, but after leaving it for 5 min it eventually started with the CEL on again. I would like to add that the motor is a b20/vtec with a b16 pr3 head (OBD1). Im going to check to see if the distributor housing has a bad bearing but could it possibly just be the sensor? Also should add the car has full msd ignition with external coil.
