Default Wich header for a D16z9

Wich header is the best choise for a Honda Civic Coupe 1.6 16v (sohc vtec)

DC Sports 4-2-1

or

DC Sports 4-1

And why?

It's not meant for a smoother daily ride, but for the 'power', to be quicker at 100 km/h/ mph

4-2-1 is mid range

4-1 is top end

as for more power for your sohc good luck. i really doubt you're going to notice a differance

save your money.

brand name intake and header will yield very little results, but they could get you started on piecing together a nice turbo kit

p.s. is it really a d16z9 not z6 or y8 in the netherlands?

dc headers suck. i know by experience. look out there for a good quality header. but i see you have a single cam so i dont think they will help you alot.

Soo much single cam hate these days, I've got a 4-2-1 and i would say decent gains with exhaust. I dont know about DC though. Try and trade somebody your stock exhaust and header for theirs, thats what I did.

The problem in the Netherlands is that there's nobody with D16 @ DC 4-1, because there's none dealer who sales it.

And they are really expensive here: Like €359,- = 440 dollar!! (the 4-2-1 version)

Yes it's really a D16z9 in Holland
Still a student, sow B16 or something is to expensive for me

Still nobody know's how a DC 4-1 performs against a 4-2-1 on a D16 ?

Order it online you'll get a much better price, and stay away from dc headers there no good.

you will loose bottom end power if you install a header, regardless of what anyone says, dyno always proves it. stick w/ a stock manifold for best results.

4-2-1.
SOHC lack both, but more mid range

There's no such thing as top end for 4-1 LOL

By the way, is there a big difference between de 4-2-1 and 4-1 about the ground clearance?
