I got a d16z6 longblock and was going to pull out the pistons and rods and put in 88-89 integra pistons/rods to bump CR to 12.0-13.1:1 compression. I was wondering if it is ok to install used pistons with rods with new rings and bearings??
any help would be great

you can if you want, it will run! but you may have some piston-slap after you clean out the cylinders, measure the bore size before you get the rings to make sure they are big enough or you will burn alot of oil and have poor comp. but yes you can re-use pistons and rods
