How does the Skunk2 and Neuspeed short shifter stack up against the highly regarded C's short shifter?

Are they relatively the same feel? Shorten the same distance?

If the shift pattern area was a 4x4 square box. How much does the short shifter cut the distance? Does the shift pattern area feels like a 2x2 square box after adding in a short shifter.

The Neuspeed does not compare to the C's in smoothness (have not tried the Skunk2).

On my Si, the throws were shortened by roughly 1/4, definitely noticeable.
