Door Lock
Hey Guys I have 97 RS with a door lock problem. The driver side door lock tends to stick and I can’t seem figure out why. The car had power locks installed with the alarm and i figured it was the actuator but today I disengaged it and the door still won’t lock even with the key from the outside. My question is does anyone know what the problem might be or if not, how hard is the door lock to swap?
i had a similar problem with my passenger side door lock. i just took off the door panel and sprayed wd-40 on the rod and connectors to the lock. it's definitely worth a shot since you are unlikely to make it any worse.

The graphite is better because wd40 is a water based lube, still works though. Easy fix same thing happened to my Crx.
