im not sure about the coolant. maybe too much? but the speedo is told the speed by a cable. maybe you didn't hook the the cable up to the cluster or it isn't hooked up at the tranny. did you let the car warm up before you checked to see if the temp gauge was working? also if you have steelies on your car then all you have to do is cut and break of the nut and stud then go to advance and get a $2 stud to replaece the one you cut. if not you can use the kit made for your situation. then we will go from there. let me know how it goes.

what codes do you have?
if the motor is pushing the coolant out of the radiador sounds like head gasket to me
keep the Si cluster
for the temp gauge check your coolant temp sensor under the distributor
for the speedometer check to see if the cable for the vss is plugged in

well about the coolant problem ah.... when the car was first purchased by my friend he drove it to his and had no problems with any leaking coolant but then my smart *** took the cap off before i started the car and it looked like there wasnt enough coolant so i filled up the radiator and the overfill tank with coolant/water 50/50 and ya i think thats what made it leak out ........ ssound right to you
