here's the problem.. my car is a 90 civic with a ZC engine. The other day the heat gauge started crawling up to where it was almost red. Shut the car down then checked everything out to see what was wrong. Then I turned it back on and cranked the heater up and everything seemed to work fine until I got back home (about 15 minute drive). I changed the thermostat just to be safe. Anyways today comes and the same exact problem occurs!! The heat gauge starts to go way up after about 20 minutes of driving. The heater isn't blowing any hot air if that matters any. The only thing I can think of is the water pump is going out, but the car doesn't leak any coolant and it doesn't make any noise when the engine is running?? If someone knows what's going on here please help!!
