Default Losing oil, What might cause this?

So my 2000 si w/b16a2 77800ish miles loses about a half qt a week or every week and a half. I have no idea why. My compression is good across all four (200, 200, 195,190) so it can't be my head gasket, bad rings or valves. I rarely hit Vtec probably once a week or less than that and i baby the car. I just replaced cap and rotor, plugs, and soon to replace plug wires. I recently changed my oil (mobil 1 5w30 w/ JDM Hamp oil filter) and had my timing belt replaced along with all belts. Does anyone have and idea what it is??? Maybe a valve adjustment will do the trick??? I also heard my year SI tends to lose oil normally so i dunno if thats true. Also can hot weather come into play with this???

there is only 2 ways you can be losing oil.
1. it's leaking, look around the engine or/and the floor.
2. the engine is burning it up.

if your compression is good, just makes it alittle harder to pin point. good reason for a engine rebuild.
