Default Have 92 DX HB and Want to do Engine Swap... HELP!!!

hey guys,

I was able to get a 92 civic hatchback with a screwed up motor so I figured I'd do a swap to get it running again. I would like to throw in this zc dohc motor I have, but from what I have heard, would be hard to do...

Basically I wanna know what motor would be direct fit, and I wanna know what I would need for that swap...PLEASE HELP (please tell me if i need a different trans for the swap also please....

I really appreciate this and wish i could be more technical or something.... But despite that please lend a hand!

lol dont do the ZC motor. I put a b16 sir II in my car and I love it. Its not the fastest but its quick and most of all reliable.

Well I can easily get a zc motor and would have saved me some money. But i'd rather spend a lil cash if its gunna be easier and better....

and where would be the best place to get a motor...
or better yet lets say I find an old teggy with the b18... could I use my original axles or would I have to get some special ones?

there is a guy on here or some guys i should say that has some really good deals on the classifieds section...i'm a newb to the site, but hey...they seem to be legit...check them out...not sure where the link is, but i found it there...might even think about getting one from them...

go with the jdm gsr...but if you are limited on some money...try the b16a...cheap and quick...if not, go with the torque...b18b....i got the b16a in my ek...quick, but smoking...

just a thought....

the work itself isn't too hard, it's just really time consuming...if you are mechanically declined, it'll be better to have someone who knows how to do it help you...the install will be easier IF you have: 1) all of the parts in front of you, 2) the right tools, 3) helms manual and a lot of research if you're not too sure. A few friends might be a good idea too...
