Default rich or lean

i was debating with a coworker. saying 14.1 is stoich/lambda what will make more power a lean mixture or a rich mixture. i know every engine set up is differrent but is there like a general tuning procedure

That is a lil rich, normally you want 14.7:1 but to get more power on an all motor setup you want to see what you can lean out when you tune it.

The PGM-FI is going to give the best mix for the need. Now about the lean or rich mix it's up to you and the air going in to the engine too much gas no go, and too much air and no go. So you have to fing the best balance if you have good air( cold and dense) you run rich, and if the air is not so good( warm and not dense) you run lean. So you have to find the one for your setup because too much in the wrong situation and you get nothing. You also want to take in to acount gas mileage.
