IG on the engine bay fuse box

IG on the engine bay fuse box
I blew the big 50A "IG" fuse along with my the horn fuse in the engine bay when i nicked a wire harness behind the gas pedal. Im going to resleeve the exposed section of the slightly damaged wire, im just curious as to what "IG" stands for. Thanks.
