Hi everybody..

I bought the JDM climate control unit, complete of sensors, wires, and everything I need to make it work. Now I have a question: did someone install it on his civic eg ? Does it work ? Do I need something else to make it work ?

Please help me and let me know..

I think when someone buys the jdm climate control, they just de-face the jdm one and usdm one and switch it. I don't think you can get the jdm one to work but I may be wrong..

 

you're right: if you buy only the climate console, the climate will not work..

but if you also buy the harness (that is different) and the temperature sensors (that are only on the JDM civics) the climate should work.
My question is if someone did this operation... I'm going to do, I only have to wait for the parcel..

 

Interested as well. I'm all for a fast car, but creature comforts like automatic climate control are really nice when I'm stuck in traffic.

I've never been able to determine for sure how the system works, or find a wiring diagram for the JDM civics that had it. My guess is that the wiring harness for it will be a little wonky, as it's from a RHD car, but hopefully it can be flipped without damage.

Care to share any more data you have?
