hey guys i got a weird rattling sound coming from dizzy.i check and evrything inside it good and tight.my question is what does a bad dizzy bearing sound like?the car starts and runs just like it should.its showing no cels.i seen a write-up on how to change it.if anyone has that linked saved could ya post it up.

i bought a used one for 50$

 

grab the rotor and try to wiggle it, if you can wiggle it a couple mm's its bad, it usually makes a grinding screeching noise when going bad

 

mine sounded like marbles grinding. The housing was too hot to touch and i also had red dust in my cap. remove it and try to spin the shaft.

 

some times it sounds like its also coming from cam gears but there tight? it does it till it warms up then it goes away.put ill try that wiggling the rotor in the morning to see what happens. oh btw this isnt the normal zc valvetrain (tap) or (ticking)
