I just got a new distributor but the problem is the clips dont fit together

they are both 9 wire but the dizzy has 2 clips (7 wire and 2 wire) and my harness clip is one big 9wire clip

i have the old 9wire clip from my old distributor.

my friend said i can cut the clip off the new dizzy and repin them into my old dizzys clip

im very bad with electric stuff though so i have no clue how to do this....

i think one large 9pin is obd2? Not sure why you had a obd2 dizzy on a crx thats converted to obdI ??????
