Default battery relocation

When you are relocating your battery to the trunk, do you drill a 1" hole to fit the 2g wire and ground it underneath the car? If yes then can someone tell me a good spot on the chassis to place to mount the ground. and if no can someone please explain to me how to correctly do the relocation? thank you

I'm pretty sure you can ground it to any part of the chassis as long as its a good connection, you don't have to drill a hole through but if you want to do it that way go for it.

Ok so you just drill enough to where the screw threads snug right.. and one more question, is a distirbution block neccessary because they didn't send one in the relocation kit..? thanks again
