cannot find a good ground

Default cannot find a good ground

chassis is rotten, what do i do? ground to the batery? should i put the battery in the trunk with the amps so the wire is shorter? the chassis has holes in it all over the place and it is currently being welded, should i weld a ground wire in there somewhere?thanks, jomo

Find a place that is not rusted out. Sand down to the metal, and put a hole for the ground screw.

Do not put the battery in the trunk unless you like toxic fumes or you have a sealed battery.

doh

Just read it was JOMO never mind put a lead acid battery in the trunk and get high of the fumes. J/K

take a flathead screwdriver and take the coating off the trunk, then you should have a good ground to the chassis
