TRANSMISSION QUESTION...NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!
ok so i just bought a stg 1 competition clutch. it came with the clutch, clutch plate, bearing, and this round pieace you put on the tranny. so i put it in the round pieace, and when you push the clutch lever down it pops out and when u let it out it goes back in, so im puttin in my tranny and it pops out, and i pushed the lever down and it stayed out. my question is when the tranny is connected will it go back to normal?
it came with 5 pieaces to the kit, clutch, clutch plate, alignment tool, small round bearing that goes in flywheel, and another that goes on the stick part on the tranny that goes into the clutch...when you push the cluth lever down it pops out and when you let off it comes back in... but its poped out and when you move the lever it stays out...so my question is, when i hook up the tranny and all that will the clutch work

There wasn't a retaining spring that held on the old throwout bearing? On mine there is a spring (which was broke) that clips onto the sides of the throwout bearing and would return the bearing back and also keep it from moving forward/back.
your installing something that you don't even know what its called or what it does? not a good idea when dealing with a clutch or transmission. that "round thing" is called your throw out bearing and it is whats in charge of engaging/disengaging your clutch disc, there should be a clutch release spring on your clutch arm/rod, that spring attatches (well kinda) to your throw out bearing so it can be disengaged.
