b16a oil pump?

Default b16a oil pump?

i have a 92-95 b16a what years oil pumps cam i use? can i use any b-series oil pump?

Try em out and see what fits. Just make sure the place you buy from has a good return policy.

If I remember correctly, the OBD level of the engine may affect which part you need.

Any obd2 oil pump will work fine for the b16a (even an LS pump is the same)
The only difference you may find, is that the fit of the lower timing cover over certain pumps - obd2 pumps require more room than obd1 (ls pump anyways) so some trimming is required.

If youre really just paranoid about it, get a pump for the 94-00 b16a2/3. Then compare that part number to that of any other obd2 oil pump, and you'll see its the same.

screw spoon oil pumps... had many builds and oem is fine.. to answer your question i usually use 94-97 del sol vtec oil pumps for my b16 builds

this is what honda is telling me to do. i did not know that the put a b16 in them? i thought they where saying d16. so i shall use the del sol pump....thanx for the help

umm yea if its just a stock 92-95 civic i doubt you have a bseries in there

USDM obd2 oil pumps have a sensor on them so unless you want unconnected plugs hanging get an obd1 or obd0 pump

For my B18CR overhaul i swap in a toda oil pump gear. just to be save.(let say its a 10 years old block)

Make sure its from the DEL SOL VTEC and not the Si (that had a Z6 in it)
