gas light wont come on is it fixable an if so any tips

 

88-95 civics and crxs do not have gas lights in the US.

I'm pretty sure my 89 LX has a gas light.

My brother's doesn't.

To my knowledge, all the EFs I've driven, none had a gas light.

 

i have a 98 ex an the light wont come on ever if im under red

Ah....you see this is a CRX/CIVIC forum 88-91 you need to go over to the 92-00 Civic Forum. They may have the answer for you there.

 

It probably still has gas in it...
Some cars read empty when they have 2-3 gallons
just to keep people from burning up the fuel pump..

Why people run their cars low on fuel is beyond me...
It was designed to pump gas,not air..

FYI:The light works off a sensor that is usually
on the botton portain fuel pump assembly in the gas tank..

 

maybe the bulb is burnt out?

who cares, use the needle.
