i have a 90 hf crx with a obd1 LS and the other day i was driving and the tach started jumping everywhere. Like i would be at idle and it would go there to like 3000rpm drop back down and then go back up to 5000rpm and it would keep doing it. Does anyone have an idea what it is let me know

Replacing it. It's a s square ish lil part inside your distributer

mine does the same thing bur i changed my ignitor and it still does it
