He guys my B16 is burnin oil like crazy so i decided to put together my GSR block just wonderin if I put the CTR pistons in it will my compression ratio be too high???
I am going to port the head out type-r valve sprigns I just want to know if this is a ok bottom end?????and the CTR pistons ok???

 

nah your compression wont be too high, just make sure you use 93 octane or retard the timing.

No real point in CR that high if you have worries especially if you arent gonna run
the big cams.

 

I am goin to be runnin CAT CAMS they are alittle bit bigger then the ITR with a crazy idle lobe. SO is this a good set up???? ANd i currently have hondata a sheet metal intake and bored out throtle body and so forth

Yea it'll be cool just like everyone else said. Run 92+ octane and retard the timing, watch for signs of detonation and back down the timing more if needed.
