Default I need intercooler pipe recommendations

I got a '96 LX I want to turbo. I want to keep the PS and AC. It will have a fmic. The compressor outlet will be pointing up toward the hood. The pipe will go toward the washer fluid tank, down behind the bumper to the i/c. I want 2" pipe running from the turbo to the i/c and 2.5" from i/c to throttle body.

How many and what bends do I need of each diameter?

TIA

tough question man. best thing to do is just go mock it up and try to visualize the piping in your mind.

why do you want to have the compressor face up? mine's straight down.

going on MEMORY I have the following: (again, pointing DOWN)

2" pipe
1 x 90*
1 x 180*

2.5" pipe
3 x 90*
and a couple of other bends to get to the throttle body. these are more like 45* not 90/180.

Thanks for the pics. Can you give the specifics on the pipe sizes/angles? I don't plan on using the washer tank hole, I want to keep that. I was wanting to use the hole on the left of this pic where the wire loom runs. http://denniscraig.org/pics/ac...G.php I don't know how possible it is because of where the washer tank is. Do I need any straight pieces?

Also where do you recommend I get the parts and couplers from? Oh, and I plan on using stainless steel or aluminum. I would like to get aluminum, but I am having a hard time finding 2" aluminum.

More opinions guys.

Thanks!

Thanks for the links. Did you explore routing the hotside piping where I mentioned? Any other areas? If so, what problems/issues did you run into which made you run the hotside like you did? Are your powersteering cooler lines still in the original location?

yeah i originally thought that routing it through the washer fluid hole was a no go with ABS but that pic w/ the ramhorn has all ABS still there.

heres one w/ no ABS
